This past weekend was AnimeNext 2008!! Oh my goodness it was sooo much fun. We got at the convention around 4ish. The hotel room wasn’t ready yet so we walked around the convention center for a bit. I wanted my panda kimonoon so I just changed in the jeep. I met up with Rachel-chan and two of her friends. After a bit, we all got in line for the concert, RENTRER EN SOI!!! Bad choice of mine for my choice of shoes, the traditional wooden shoes, my feet were killing me by the end. But they were really good, more screamo than last year’s group but good screamo not the kind that kills your head... lol
Saturday, I was Hinata-chan. I loved cosplaying as hinata, I might keep cosplaying as her. So many people asked for my picture, lots of fun! The random people hugging me or asking me for one. Matt thought I was 20, because I said something about exams. If I didn’t say anything about them he would have said 15. Matt was working at the hall cosplay contest and he talked with us while we were waiting for Haley’s turn to go. But then another guy, a random dealer, said he could see that I was around 20. My thought was he was just trying me to buy something. Then there was the Sasuke, who was a really cool guy. He asked for a picture with me then we talked for a good hour and half. He said I should go to anime festival, another anime convention in New York City, so we could see each other again. The Rave was that night so it was time was for me to change into “sexy Hinata “... A group of people were yelling that at me while I was passing by to the Holiday Inn. But at the rave I was doing my thing. People were like “wow check out hinata go... wow go hinata…” Rachel said I was crazy and she didn’t know me any longer…. But the place was packed to the max.. no lie … like 300 people crammed into one small area. After Rachel and Jess went home, I stayed and danced until 2:00am. It was crazy… I danced with some many people, people were asking to dance with me.... it was crazy….
Sunday was kinda boring…. I wore my panda kimono with the apron so kinda egl but not fully but still I like it! Animenext was amazing this year, it almost bring tears to my eyes….. post convention depression………lol
